Our four core subjects are Language/Reading, Math, Science and History/Geography.
Language/Reading - Students will learn and understand the elements of our English language in all its forms. Students will study phonograms and all the sounds they make in order to decipher and spell new words, grammar rules, proper handwriting (cursive), elements of literature and reading comprehension strategies.
Math - Students will learn strategies for solving mathematical equations, understand how math concepts build on one another, and commit basic math facts to memory while understanding the relationships between them.
Science - Students will study science in both natural and technological aspects. They will understand that by learning about science they become a more well-rounded individual and better understand their place and responsibility in our world. Students will also learn about the brilliant individuals throughout history responsible for our most important scientific discoveries.
History/Geography - Students will learn about important figures, dates and events throughout the history of our world. Students will understand how actions and decisions lead to other important events throughout time. We will study great civilizations and the foundations of our great nations.
